Dear FAPT Vendor Partner:
The Executive Committee of the Florida Association for Pupil Transportation is pleased to invite you to participate in our 71st Annual Conference and Trade Show. Later in this email you will find vendor registration links to the FAPT and the Rosen Centre hotel reservation system.
Our conference will be held in Orlando on July 7-11, 2019. Our summer agenda is always a strong and diverse one offering several topics of timely and critical importance to our attendees that stimulate professional growth and knowledge. We typically draw 50 or more of our 67 local school districts and charter schools and we expect to have 175 plus attendees in Orlando which offers many family activities and local entertainment venues.
Our trade show is an opportunity for extended exchanges of information and interaction between our vendors, our purchasers and users. Those who make budget decisions and guide the long-range planning for our student transportation needs with their elected School Board members will be present. This year we are adding an exclusive opportunity to build strong relationships with our attendees at a reception to which all attendees are invited. In 2017 and 2018 we had to turn away vendors due to late requests and space. In 2019 we have a larger venue and we are working hard to ensure that our goal to always improve our vendor and attendee experience is met.
We have scheduled several activities for your calendar:
Sunday, July 7 8:00am Vendor/Member FAPT Golf Tournament at the legendary
Shingle Creek Arnold Palmer designed golf club
Monday, July 8 1-4:00pm Trade Show Set up (will not open until Tuesday am)
Monday, July 8 5:00 – 6:30pm Reception for Vendors and Attendees
Tuesday, July 9 8:00am Show opens with continental breakfast in the show.
Tuesday, July 9 Noon Trade Show closes and take down.
We will have live distribution of door prizes in the trade show and attendees must be present to win. At noon we will give away a special door prize TBD.
The full agenda content is in current planning mode and as soon as it is complete, we will forward it to you. We welcome your thoughts and suggestions for our program that do not include product sales and focus on improved equipment, technology and trends across suppliers.
We will also seek your additional financial sponsorship of our conference for which your company will receive sponsorship credit, web advertisements in our newsletter and other printed materials, special introductions at our meetings and other benefits depending on the level of sponsorship.
