The FAPT is hosting a one-day workshop on Cybersecurity. Presenters will include representatives from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA) and will provide you with information about the risk of cyberattack on your data infrastructure and the no-cost resources and support programs available to you both before and after such an attack. The workshop is designed to enhance your cybersecurity posture by familiarizing you with the 5N5 –“five non-technical actions to consider in five days”.
Topics covered will include password policies, phishing and spam trends and how to report cybersecurity incidents. Those persons who should attend are personnel with data collection and maintenance responsibility in transportation administration, HR, finance, risk management, security and student information. Please come prepared to discuss if and how you currently address cybersecurity in your department.
