It's a simple, super high-quality 4-band analog equalizer that lets you fix imperfect recordings or tailor your system's sound to your taste. Forget the noisy, cheap EQs of the past. This thing uses a single discrete gain stage and passive LC filters (and a gyrator for the bass) for incredibly low noise and transparent sound. You get control over four frequency bands: 20Hz (bass), 400Hz (lower mids), 2kHz (upper mids), and 8kHz (treble). Adjust the bass and treble by +/-12dB and the mids by +/-6dB. There's also a 100% passive bypass switch if you just want to take it out of the signal path completely. It's built like a tank in the USA. Just plug it between your preamp and power amp (or into a headphone amp setup). The included power adapter is for 115VAC countries (US, Canada, Mexico).
