Need a tough, versatile sheet material for electrical projects, jigs, or prototypes? This G-10/FR-4 Garolite sheet is a real workhorse. It's basically fiberglass cloth laminated with a flame-retardant epoxy resin, so it's super strong, moisture resistant, and a great electrical insulator. Plus, it's rated UL 94 V0 for flame resistance. The color is a solid yellow, and it's opaque.
The sheet is 1/16 inch thick (with a tolerance of +/- a few thousandths), 24 inches wide, and 48 inches long. It's got some serious specs: tensile strength of 38,000 psi, impact strength of 14 ft-lbs/in, and it can handle temps up to 280°F. It's also pretty hard (Rockwell M110) and has very low water absorption. You can machine it, drill it, and cut it relatively easily.
