Need to take heavy roughing cuts off large surfaces? This 4-inch indexable face mill (shell mill) is built for the job. It uses five round RCKT1606 carbide inserts that are super resistant to chipping – when an edge wears out, just rotate or replace the insert instead of changing the whole tool. The mill has a 1-1/4-inch arbor hole with a 1/2-inch keyway, so it mounts securely on compatible milling machine arbors. With a negative rake design and clamp-on/screw-in insert holding, it’s aggressive and stable for demanding materials. Overall height is about 2 inches, hub diameter is 2.767 inches.
