Is the insulation pad under your hood of your old Chevy or GMC truck all torn up, sagging, or missing? This is a direct replacement. It fits 1988-1998 Chevy and GMC C1500, C2500, C3500, K1500, K2500, K3500 pickups and the Suburban. It's made from a glass-PET material that helps insulate the hood from engine heat (which can protect your paint) and also reduces some engine noise in the cabin. It's about 1/2 inch thick and comes in black. It includes the necessary clips to secure it to the hood, just like the original. It's a simple part that cleans up the engine bay, provides some protection, and is an easy DIY install. Just peel off the old, crumbling one and clip this new one in place.
