The Fluke i200S is the perfect accessory to add safe, non-contact current measurement to your toolkit. Simply clamp it around a wire (up to 20mm thick) and it will measure the AC current flowing through it without you having to cut or disconnect anything. It has two ranges: a sensitive 20 Amp range for smaller loads and a powerful 200 Amp range for bigger motors and equipment. It outputs a small voltage signal (10mV per Amp on the 200A range, 100mV/A on the 20A range) through a safety-insulated BNC connector. The included adapter lets you plug that BNC output into the regular banana jack inputs on almost any digital multimeter (DMM), oscilloscope (ScopeMeter), or power quality analyzer. It's rated CAT III 600V, meaning it's safe to use on most building electrical systems. With basic accuracy of 1.5% + 0.5A, it gives you reliable readings for troubleshooting motors, checking circuit loads, or doing basic power analysis. The cable is 2 meters (about 6.5 feet) long for good reach. A must-have for any electrician, HVAC tech, or serious DIYer who already owns a good multimeter.
