This is a specialized electronic module from Rochester Sensors for monitoring fluid levels remotely. It's designed to work with their R3D series \remote-ready\ dial gauges (the gauge face is sold separately). The module uses Hall Effect technology to sense the position of the needle on the dial and converts that into a ratiometric voltage output (0V to VCC) that tells you the exact fluid percentage. It needs a small 3-5VDC power supply and uses very little current, making it great for battery-powered systems. It comes with a 6-foot rugged cable that's oil, water, and UV resistant. It's housed in a tough polyamide case and is certified intrinsically safe for hazardous locations (Class 1, Div 1, Groups C&D). Perfect for adding smart, wireless-capable monitoring to tanks for oil, fuel, water, or other liquids in industrial, agricultural, or remote settings.
