Want to explore infrared photography or need a filter for specialized work? This 43mm Infrared Filter lets you capture wavelengths that are invisible to the naked eye. Made from Germanium optical glass with an Aero Magnalium ring, it's designed for serious use. The filter blocks visible light while allowing infrared wavelengths to pass through - this particular one is for 590nm (but they're available for various nm ranges like 630, 650, 720, 850, 950, etc.). It screws right onto lenses with 43mm threads. Great for creative photography (turns green foliage white, creates dreamy landscapes), forensic work, archaeological documentation, or any application where you need to see beyond the visible spectrum. The optical grade glass ensures minimal distortion. Just remember: your camera sensor needs to be sensitive to IR, or you might need to modify your camera. Whether you're an artist, researcher, or just curious about IR imaging, this filter opens up a whole new world of photographic possibilities. Fun fact: these are sometimes called \heat absorbing filters\ in projector applications too!
