Building a custom car, hot rod, or kit car and need to mount your steering column? This adjustable mounting bracket is just what you're looking for. It's designed to hold a steering column with a 3/4-inch diameter shaft. The bracket itself clamps onto a 1.5-inch diameter tube or bar (like part of your chassis or dash structure). The cool feature is the adjustability: the bracket allows you to move the steering column up and down, as well as side to side, so you can dial in the perfect, most comfortable driving position. It uses an oversize bearing that lets the 3/4\ shaft slide through smoothly for that adjustment. Key dimensions are a 6-3/8\ center from the bar mount to the pivot point, and a maximum of 8-3/8\ from the bar mount to the center of the shaft.
