Is the fuel gauge on your old Ford or New Holland tractor acting up? This 310940 fuel sending unit is a common replacement. It's an aftermarket part designed to fit a huge list of vintage tractor models, including the 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 2000, 4000 series, and many more from the late 50s through the 60s (check the full list in the description to be absolutely sure). The unit itself is about 8-3/4 inches long and has an electrical resistance range of 14 to 122 ohms. CRITICAL NOTE: This style of sender will NOT work with the original OEM fuel gauges in these tractors. It's designed for use with aftermarket or compatible replacement gauges. So if you're doing a full restoration or have already swapped your gauge, this might be the part you need.
