Is your old John Deere tractor seat torn, cracked, or just uncomfortable? This DirectFit high-back seat is a direct replacement designed to bolt right onto a ton of John Deere lawn and garden tractor models, including the popular X500, X700, and X900 series (check the full list to make sure yours is covered). It replaces the original John Deere part number AM136400. The seat measures about 19\ long, 14.5\ wide, and 21.5\ tall, offering a good blend of size and support with its contoured back and lines. It's made from durable, easy-to-clean vinyl and has a blow-molded plastic bottom with multiple bolt hole patterns for a secure fit. Important note: This seat does NOT include a safety switch, so you'll need to reuse your existing one if your model has it. Also, depending on your exact tractor, you might need a specific hinge bracket (sold separately). It features a drain hole to let water out. Do yourself a favor and skip the power tools during installation to avoid cracking the plastic. Just use hand tools for a snug, safe fit.
