For occupational therapists, physical therapists, or serious DIY hand-splint makers: this is a single sheet of Rolyan Aquaplast Original, a classic low-temperature thermoplastic. The sheet is 1/8 inch thick, 18 inches by 24 inches, and has a 19% OptiPerf perforation pattern (lots of little holes) which makes it lighter and more breathable for the wearer. It's beige in color. You heat this material in hot water (around 160°F) and it becomes soft and moldable, allowing you to create custom-fitted splints for wrists, hands, or fingers. It bonds to itself on contact. Once it cools, it becomes rigid again, holding its shape to provide support. This is a professional-grade material used in clinics everywhere. It's non-latex and ships flat. Perfect for creating serial casts, resting splints, or bases for dynamic outriggers.
