Got an older flash or studio strobe that only has a PC sync connection, but you want to use it on a modern camera hot shoe? This Kaiser adapter is a simple fix. It's a little metal block with a standard hot shoe on top where you mount your flash. Then, there's an 11.5-inch PC sync cord (male) coming out of it that you plug into your camera's PC socket.
When you press the shutter, it triggers the flash. The bottom of the adapter has a shoe track so you can also mount it into another flash shoe (like on a bracket), plus a standard 1/4\-20 tripod thread, so you could screw it onto a tripod, light stand, or clamp if you want.
